AATI 2023 Conference – FAQs
Where can I find the list of open and approved conference sessions?
You can find the most recent version of the open panels list here:
Who do I contact if I have questions about the conference?
If you have questions about the overall conference, please write to: aaticonferencecommittee@gmail.com
Who do I contact if I have questions about the session in which I am presenting or would like to present?
If you have questions about specific sessions, please write directly to the session chair.
I am organizing an open session, where do I upload completed session information?
Please use this form for uploading completed session information:Â Â https://forms.gle/oa3U4yuQG5FRZdoB8
This information will be used for generating the conference program. Please make sure all information is correct and accurate.
I am proposing a completed panel, where do I upload the information?
Please use this form for uploading completed session information:Â Â https://forms.gle/oa3U4yuQG5FRZdoB8
This information will be used for generating the conference program. Please make sure all information is correct and accurate.
I proposed an open session and it was accepted, must I also complete the “completed session form?”
Yes, even if the original session proposal was accepted, we still need all the information for you and for the participants on your panel. This information will be used for generating the conference program. Please make sure all information is correct and accurate.
My individual presentation proposal does not fit in any of the listed and approved open sessions, what do I do?
If your individual presentation proposal does not fit in any of the listed and approved sessions, you may submit it to the conference committee using the link below. Please note, however, that individual proposals sent to the committee, which in our opinion would fit into a specific session, will be returned to the submitter with the instructions to submit directly to the session chair. Again, please review the open and approved sessions list carefully to avoid double/extra work for you and for us.
Individual Presentations: Â https://forms.gle/vQEhgqv8mXfC66Jg7
I received several excellent proposals for my session, what should I do?
If you have proposed a traditional session, the maximum number of presenters allowed per session is 4. Please remember that you do not have to accept all proposals. If you have 5 proposals, we would suggest that you accept the top 4 proposals and keep the 5th as an alternative. If you have between 6 and 8 solid proposals, you may create 2 sessions from these and submit 2 completed session forms.
If you have proposed a round table, you may have up to 6 respondents. Again, if you have more than this, we would advise you to pare down the panelists.
Please note that each session will last 90 minutes and it is the responsibility of the chair to maintain this time limit, while also allowing for at least 15 minutes of Q&A. Since there will be several sessions happening at the same time, it is IMPERATIVE that panelists and chairs maintain the schedule, by limiting individual presentation lengths and number of people on a panel or round table.
What is the deadline for uploading session information?
All session information must be uploaded via the google doc forms by Midnight, Sunday, December 11, 2022, in your time zone. At this time, the forms will close automatically. Please use the following links for submitting your information:

Individual Presentations: Â https://forms.gle/vQEhgqv8mXfC66Jg7
There is an error, typo, or other problem with my published proposal information, what should I do?
Please note that program, proposal, and all other published information will be copied directly from the google form submissions. The Conference Committee will not correct errors of any kind, so be sure to send your information copy-ready. If you do find an error later on, please send the corrected information to aaticonferencecommittee@gmail.com, and we will update/correct the program and published materials as we are able. However, once the program goes to print, no other changes can be made.
When will I know if my proposal has been accepted?
Formal acceptance / rejection letters will be sent no later than February 15, 2023.
Will the AATI offer travel grants this year?
The AATI will offer a limited number of travel grants again this year. The application will open on our site once letters of acceptance/rejection have been sent out. To apply for a travel grant, click here. Deadline is MAY 15, 2023!
