Biography:

Antonella Dell’Anna, PhD, is an instructor in the School of International Letters and Cultures at ASU. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Letters (Classics), and a doctorate in Italy. She has been teaching Italian at ASU since 2005 in Tempe and in Downtown, where she also supervise an Internship for students of Italian. Her areas of teaching and research include teaching Italian language through literature, Italian mass media communication, and pedagogy in language teaching.  Dr.Dell’Anna has been nominated for several leadership, service and teaching awards from ASU and national teaching associations. In 2016, she was given the Instructor of the Year Award from the ASU School of International Letters and Culture.

She is Past President of the Arizona Language Association, Conferences Chair, current Exhibits Coordinator, and AZLA representative at the American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Languages Assembly of Delegates.
