Silvia Tiboni-Craft is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Italian at Wake Forest University where she teaches courses on Italian language, literature and culture. She obtained both a B.A. and M.A. in Italian Literature from the University of Urbino Carlo Bo and a Ph.D. in Italian at Rutgers University with a dissertation on Italian women writers entitled “Fantasy of the Domestic Space”. Silvia’s research and teaching interests include 19th and 20th century Italian women writers, 20th century Italian poetry, the domestic space, feminist theory, and pedagogy. She is currently working on a research project on the use of virtual reality in the language class.
