Silvia Tiboni-Craft is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Italian at Wake Forest University where she teaches courses on Italian language, literature and culture. She obtained both a B.A. and M.A. in Italian Literature from the University of Urbino Carlo Bo and a Ph.D. in Italian at Rutgers University with a dissertation on Italian women writers entitled “Fantasy of the Domestic Space”. Silvia’s research and teaching interests include 19^th and 20^th century Italian women writers, 20^th century Italian poetry, the domestic space, feminist theory, and pedagogy.  She is currently working on a research project on the use of virtual reality in the language class.
